Terms of service.

Terms & Conditions for Nest Cornwall CIC.

Last updated November 2025.

Nest Cornwall CIC, founded and managed by Lucie Hill, is a not for profit organisation which serves home educated children and values creativity, community and wellbeing.

Providing an ofsted registered setting with an adult to child ratio of 1:8, Lucie Hill is able to offer childcare for up to 15 hours per week (term-time only) accompanied by her childminding assistants Stanka Smith, Natasha Macewan and Michael Jones.

Nest Cornwall CIC does not have a permanent setting and operates half termly in advance.  If at any time our venue or times needs to change to suit the needs of the setting, notice will be given immediately and you will be given a choice to keep or withdraw your child's place.

As a growing not for profit organisation, we rely on a consistent number of children to cover organisational costs. If costs can not be met half termly in advance, sufficient notice will be given to parents and carers so they can plan accordingly. Therefore notice to withdraw your child’s place will need to be given at any start of a new half term to allow time for finding a replacement.

If a session can not run for example, due to staff shortage, urgent notice will be given and parents/carers will be contacted via the Parents WhatsApp group and the session will be refunded. For new and returning members, a one-off registration fee of £40 will apply to each child and this will be added to your first invoice.

Nest Cornwall CIC follows the academic term in Cornwall and bookings for your child will need to be paid half termly in advance (at least 7 days before first date of term). Sessions are £35 per child per session.
