Terms & Conditions for Nest Cornwall CIC.

Updated April 2026.

Nest Cornwall CIC is led by ofsted registered child minder Lucie Hill and is a learning setting that values creativity and connection.

Lucie Hill works alongside Helen Davison and Natasha Macewan to provide a nurturing and creative experience for children aged 6-12 years.

Nest Cornwall CIC does not offer national curriculum and there are no exams or tests. If you would like to read about our team please visit website link https://www.nestcornwall.co.uk

To ensure the safety of your child and our facilitators, there will be an adult child ratio of 1:8.

Nest Cornwall CIC follows the school term and bookings for your child will need to be paid half termly in advance (at least 7 days before first date of term). Sessions are £35 per child per session.  A one-off registration fee of £20 will apply to each child and this will be added to your first invoice. This goes towards the ongoing costs of our sessions.

Nest Cornwall CIC is a not for profit community interest company and is sustainable up to a minimum of 12 children per group. If numbers fall below this threshold, the managing director will make a decision as to whether sessions can take place. Notice will be given to parents/carers as and if/when this happens.

What to bring:

  • Please pack your child nut free snacks/lunch and a water bottle. Please inform us of any intolerances or allergies on the registration form.

  • Nest Cornwall CIC values screen free time and unless it is for a medical reason ask that you leave personal devices at home.

  • Nest Cornwall CIC is a childcare setting that doesn't have a permanent venue and is required to pay a hire fee. If at any time the venue or times needs to change to suit the needs of the setting, notice will be given immediately and you will be given a choice to keep or withdraw your child's place.

Lucie Hill is the first point of contact for any suggestions, feedback or concerns about your child at Nest.  Lucie's email is hello@nestcornwall.co.uk We value parent feedback and encourage this where possible.
